AI Visibility Audit — scope of work

This describes exactly what you get, what it costs, and what we need from you. Please read it before paying. If anything here is not what you expected, say so and we will sort it out first.

What we do

1. An AI visibility audit. We ask an AI assistant the questions a customer would actually type when looking for a business like yours in your town — seven of them, three times each. We record every business it names and how often. You get a PDF showing where you stand against the businesses it does recommend.

2. A full rebuild of your Google Business Profile. Categories, description, services with prices, service area, hours, attributes, at least 15 photos, 8 to 10 questions and answers, and written replies to your existing reviews.

3. Bing Places. Claimed by importing your Google profile, then verified. We also verify Bing Webmaster Tools. This matters because Microsoft Copilot gets its local answers from Bing rather than from Google.

4. A report on inconsistencies we find. Where your name, address or phone number disagree across the directories we check, we tell you where and what they say. We report these; we do not fix them. Fixing them means logging into third party sites as you, which is outside this work.

5. A re-measure after 30 days. We ask the same seven questions again and send you a before-and-after PDF.

What this costs

$499, once. Payable in full before work starts.

There is no monthly fee and nothing renews automatically. If you later want us to keep managing the profile, that is a separate arrangement you would have to choose.

What we need from you

Work cannot start until we have:

• Manager access to your Google Business Profile. We will send instructions. You can remove our access at any time, including the day we finish.
• Your information: services and prices, hours, service area, the questions customers actually ask you.
• At least 10 photos we are allowed to use.
• The name of whoever should appear to be writing your review replies.

If we do not hear back for 30 days after asking, we will pause and let you know. Nothing expires and no money is lost, but we cannot hold the slot indefinitely.

What we honestly cannot promise

This is the part most worth reading.

We cannot promise you will appear in AI answers. We can make your business easier for these systems to find, read and quote — which is the work described above. Whether any particular assistant names you on any particular day is a decision made by a system neither of us controls, and its answers change from run to run. That variation is why we ask every question three times rather than once.

We do not promise leads, customers, phone calls or sales, and we do not claim that any change in your business came from this work. If your enquiries go up afterwards, we would like to think we helped, but we are not going to tell you we can prove it.

We do not do search engine rankings. This is not SEO. We do not work on your position in Google's blue links, and nothing here is a claim about that.

The numbers in your report describe AI assistant answers, on the dates stated, using the questions stated. They are a real measurement of a real thing, and they are not a measure of anything else.

Timing

We aim to finish the setup within 10 working days of receiving everything in "What we need from you". That clock starts when your answers come back, not when you pay. The 30-day re-measure happens 30 days after the setup is complete.

Google and Bing both take their own time to review profile changes, and occasionally ask for verification we cannot do on your behalf. Where that happens we will tell you and it is not counted against our turnaround.

Refunds and cancellation

If you change your mind before you have given us access to your Google Business Profile, we refund you in full, no questions asked. Once you have granted access we have started, and from that point the fee is non-refundable — the audit and the rebuild are the work, and both happen early.

We want to be straight about one thing, because it is the obvious question. The 30-day re-measure can come back showing little or no change. That is a real possibility and we will report it honestly rather than quietly. What you are paying for is the audit, the rebuild of your profile, and an honest measurement of both — not a particular number at the end of it. If we promised you the number instead, you should not believe us.

You can stop working with us at any time by removing our access. Nothing continues after this engagement unless you separately agree to it.

Your data, and what we do with it

• We use your business information only to do this work.
• We do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone other than Google and Bing as part of the setup.
• Your audit results and photos stay on our systems. Ask us to delete them and we will, within 30 days, other than anything we have to keep for tax records.
• We may describe the work in general terms as a case study. We will not name your business without asking you first.

Boring but necessary

• We are Puppet Dev Studios LLC. This agreement is between you and that company.
• If something goes wrong, our liability is limited to what you paid us.
• Neither of us is responsible for the other's lost profits or indirect losses.
• Governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
• If any part of this is unenforceable, the rest still stands.
• Changes to this agreement have to be in writing — email is fine.
